Boiler Engineer
Red E Services has positions available for qualified candidates to assist with the operation and maintenance of steam boilers in hospitals and other specialized healthcare facilities. There is a need for experienced licensed Boiler Engineers. Other facility maintenance skills with air compressors, medical gas systems, medical vacuum systems, generators, and other ancillary equipment is beneficial for these positions, but not required. Interesting, challenging locations for reliable team-oriented engineers that can self-manage productivity with minimal supervision. Hours available range from one or two shifts a week up to full scheduled work week. Schedule depends on your need to work. May work out for you as a second job in some cases. Training is available to advance skills, certifications and advance the career path for committed employees.
The following experience/skills are ESSENTIAL:
- Energetic, self-disciplined, organized, detail oriented, proactive, versatile, skilled service technicians that are proficient with healthcare building services and equipment maintenance and safety requirements to efficiently and effectively complete all service orders in a timely manner.
- Dedicated and dependable day-to-day requirements to maintain the optimal physical condition of the boilers.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, collaborative teamwork and servant leadership skills. A passion for helping people with customer friendly services.
- Confident in a rigorous and fast paced environment, independently maintaining a high sense of urgency and time management to start and finish jobs effectively.
- Able to work indoors & outdoors, climb and work at various heights, and lift heavy tools and equipment (<100lbs), and able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Possess and maintain a 500 HP Boiler Operating License or higher level Boiler Operating License. Boiler Engineers with NO license must have 3-5 years solid prior experience as boiler engineer to qualify.
- Possess experience complying with OSHA safety requirements and skilled in diagnostics and troubleshooting boiler equipment, controls and monitoring systems.Able to read and interpret work orders and instructions and to communicate clearly with others.
- Able to perform routine Facilities Mechanical Repairs, if requested by client. Not all clients are able to dedicate Boiler Engineer to Boiler duty only.
- Able to read and interpret work orders and instructions and to communicate clearly with others on the team.
Any of the following experience/skills would be a PLUS:
- Knowledge and experience with local building codes.
- Is skilled in reading blueprints.
- Is open to flexible schedules - days/evenings/nights/weekends and overtime as needed. (Pay differentials apply)
- Able to perform routine Facilities Mechanical Repairs, if requested by client. Not all clients are able to dedicate Boiler Engineer to Boiler duty only.
- 5 + years' experience working as a maintenance or trade technician -- (e.g., carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC|\R, Landscaping etc.
- Possess Computer skills- Microsoft Office and MS Windows
- Possess and maintain an Unlimited Boiler License.
- Possess Turbine Skills and/or certification

Licensed HVAC/R Technician
Job Description
A healthcare facility services company is in search of qualified HVAC candidates to assist with maintenance, diagnostics, repair and replacement services of hospital HVAC/R equipment. A few positions also available in non-healthcare settings at this time. Excellent positions for licensed candidates that can self-manage productivity with minimal supervision.
The following experience/skills are ESSENTIAL:
- Skilled HVAC/R service technician with 6+ years’ experience and diagnostic proficiency with building HVAC/R services (refrigerant licenses required), and equipment tasks to efficiently complete all service orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Must be skilled in diagnostics and troubleshooting equipment, pressure relationships, air changes, temperature and relative humidity controls, and monitoring systems.
- Dedicated and dependable day-to-day HVAC/R maintenance functions to upkeep the physical condition of the facility.
- Confident in a rigorous and fast paced environment, independently maintaining a high sense of urgency and time management to start and finish jobs effectively.
- Able to work indoors & outdoors, climb and work at various heights, and lift heavy tools and equipment (≤100lbs), and able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Experience complying with AQMD, OSHA safety requirements and knowledge and experience with local building codes.
- Ability to read and write in English to interpret work orders and instructions and skilled in reading blueprints.
The following experience/skills are PREFERRED:
- 6 + years healthcare/ industrial maintenance experience restoring/replacing equipment with demonstrable AC/DC and HVAC/R theory and background.
- Prior healthcare experience
- Effective interpersonal, communication, collaborative teamwork and servant leadership skills. A passion for helping people with customer friendly services.
- Energetic, self-disciplined, organized, detail oriented, proactive and versatile technician.
- Flexible schedules - days/evenings/nights/weekends and overtime as needed.
